Cristina Pereteatcu, participated in the Annual Meeting on Cybersecurity, which took place in Geneva, Switzerland

The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Energy, Cristina Pereteatcu, participated from November 11 to 13 at the Annual Meeting on Cybersecurity, organized by the World Economic Forum, held in Geneva, Switzerland.
 
Thus, over 150 of the world's most important cybersecurity leaders from business, government, international organizations, civil society and academia came together to improve collaboration for a safer and more resilient global cyberspace.
 
Those present at the event reiterated the need to implement urgent actions in the context of the recent increase in cyber threats targeting multiple institutions.
 
The program included interactive dialogues and workshops, as well as discussions to stimulate debate, exchange information and drive action in three key areas: building cyber resilience; strengthening global cooperation and navigating cyber borders.
 
Cristina Pereteatcu had a meeting with the Director for Sustainable Energy at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Dario Liguti and the Economic Affairs Officer, Sustainable Energy Division, Igor Litvinyuk. The parties discussed digitalization, cybersecurity and the Sandbox law. Thus, the Secretary of State was included in the task force groups on digitalization and smart metering.
