The Ministry of Energy, with the support of the United Nations Development Programme in the Republic of Moldova, will launch on Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m., in the meeting room on the 1st floor of the Government building, G. Bănulescu-Bodoni entrance, the pilot program for the installation of smart meters for electricity. Prime Minister Dorin Recean will attend the event.

The pilot program is part of the national plan for digitizing the energy sector. Within this initiative, meters will be installed in public institutions and households to assist in measuring and optimizing actual energy consumption.
