The Ministry of Energy invites media representatives to attend the signing ceremony of the contract for the design and construction of the 400 kV Bălți–Suceava Overhead Power Line (OHL), a project of strategic importance for the energy security of the Republic of Moldova and for the country’s full integration into the European energy market.

The event will also include the signing of the Grant Agreement for the technical assistance required for the implementation of the “Interconnection of the Electricity Networks between the Republic of Moldova and Romania, Phase II” Project, between the Ministry of Energy, S.A. Moldelectrica and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The grant is provided by the EBRD through the EBRD Shareholder Special Fund and the Sustainable Infrastructure Fund.
