The Minister of Energy Introduces the New State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy

The Minister of Energy, Dorin Junghietu, today introduced the new State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Vitalie Mîța, to the Ministry’s team, emphasizing the importance of strengthening institutional capacities and ensuring continuity in energy sector reforms.
Vitalie Mîța is a specialist in the energy sector, with relevant academic studies and advanced training in energy management and energy efficiency. He holds a master’s degree in engineering, specializing in Electrical Engineering, and has over 17 years of professional experience in the energy sector.
During his career, Vitalie Mîța has held several positions within Termoelectrica, including Head of Production Management Services and Development Director. In these roles, he was involved in major projects for the modernization and development of the centralized thermal energy supply system.
“His solid professional experience and in-depth knowledge of the energy sector make Mr. Vitalie Mîța highly qualified for this role. I am confident that his expertise will contribute to accelerating modernization projects, improving energy efficiency, and successfully implementing public policies in the sector,” stated Minister Dorin Junghietu.
The Minister wished the new State Secretary success and reiterated the Ministry of Energy’s commitment to continuing the necessary reforms to ensure energy security and the sustainable development of the sector.
